An ornament or two

   This weekend I did what many of you probably got to...the tree, the lights, the ornaments and a few other friendly little decorations.

I've scaled it back that's for sure, but some of my favorite Christmas friends are out of the boxes and on display.

The hand mades along with store bought still bring a smile to our faces.

And as we share a story of our favorite ornament which always starts with "I remember when we got this", we are also sharing the story of our family.

Big boy claimed this quilt as his almost as soon as I finished it.

 Its probably too childlike for him now but we all like seeing it hanging up.
