Black Friday?

  My children are no longer young so their expectations for Christmas have changed drastically from barbies and hotwheels to welding helmet and zebra print sheet sets.  I was never one to get up at 3am and fight for great deals but today I decided to head out to one of our local quilt shops since they were offering a black friday 45% off sale.  Quilter's Cottage in Fallbrook had hot coffee, warm scones and fat quarters 45% off the original $2.95.

Not to mention all their Christmas and Fall fabrics on sale.  I'm trying hard this year to support small businesses, made in the USA and shop local whenever possible.  Here are a few sites that have great tips for doing just that...shop America and for Saturday Nov. 24th American Express is offering $25.00 rebate on shopping small businesses!  What are your suggestions this holiday?
