First of all, I'M 2 FOLLOWERS AWAY FROM 100!! Sorry, I had to get that out as I never thought that day would come.
Secondly, I have been at the mercy of my internet service this weekend so this post is slightly delayed.
The San Diego Quilt Run began Friday and coincidentally we were taking a trip to one of the shops on the run. Well that snow balled into three shops on the run. The only problem is when I go to these shops I forget to take photos as I'm too busy shopping. Fat Quarters Quilt Shop was giving away this pattern for an adorable pieced cupcake.
I bought these background fabrics and obviously felt I was low on golds and blacks.
At Grand Country Quilters I was immediately drawn to the samples of hummingbird cake and ticking fabrics.
On the way home we stopped into our local shop in Fallbrook Quilter's Cottage. They have a mascot at this shop and I happened to get a picture of him working really hard during the run.
The theme this year for the run is "Just Desserts" and each shop is giving away a pattern and other tasty treats. Hope you have time to participate and do a little better at the picture taking than I have.
