Tricks and Treats

Happy Halloween!  This is the extent of the decorations I'm putting up.  As my neighborhood becomes more retirees we see less and less little goblins.  I'm passing the time today trying to finish up some quilting for a customer.  Elisabeth does beautiful applique'.  Like this table runner in golds, burgundy and green.
She always challenges me by adding beads and embellishments.
This is her barn quilt, each one in its own frame.  I'm having to change threads quite a bit but in the end it will come out beautifully.
Speaking of long arm quilting...I was taking an order from a quilt shop customer yesterday and she mentioned having a long arm set up for sale at $6,000.  If you are interested please contact Georgia for more details.  Another little treat is the new calendar being put out by Primitive Quilts magazine.  My Spring project will be one of the featured designs in this 2014 calendar!  Check it out and order yours today, here is the link.
