Thankful For...

I've made my coffee, planning my workout, still have a quilt to work on all before starting to bake the desserts for tomorrow.  But first I wanted to share a few Fall projects that remind me what this holiday is truly about...
being thankful for my friends both near and far,
my family, from whom I inherited my artistic talent which allows me to make a living at something I love doing...
the people I have met, on this blog, at shows and via the quilting community.
I'm thankful for the opportunity to learn.   I have yet to sit in on a class or group and not walked away with a new tid bit of information.
I'm so grateful my children are strong, loving and independent people, they make me proud to be their mom.
Inspiration is around every corner.  At your local quilt shop/show, in your sewing groups, on a favorite blog and in nature.
On this holiday, although there may be one less at the table and the hole in my heart is still open, there is much to be thankful for.
Wishing you all a holiday filled with love, peace and gratitude.
