"My Quilter Will Fix That"

Frequently while walking the quilts at a show I find that I'm drawn to the quilting of a quit as often as the quilt itself.  Capturing the detail of the top stitching on camera is often very difficult but that doesn't seem to stop me from trying.  As a free motion quilter myself I'm always on the lookout for block fillers.  Especially designs for triangles.
Or filling the space between blocks.
Quilting often makes the quilt, like this example which takes a block and turns it into a piece of art.
Great example of filling space with design.
Such a simple design and that's what makes it so beautiful.
Feathering adds depth to this block.
A micro stipple filler around feathers and applique' will pop the design.
Another example of this, on steroids!
Modern quilting has become my newest obsession as I get more of these quilts to complete for customers.
Delicate filler design which really enhances this quilt.
I have more to share but I will wait till next week.  Stay tuned.
