What Ima Workin on Wednesday

Some days are more about cleaning up that to do list than working purposefully on one project.  I got my quilt back from The Happy Quilter Janiel Miller.  You get to see the back of it because it is slated for the Summer 2014 issue of Primitive Magazine.  This quilt will get its binding and pattern directions typed up today.
The Long Beach show is fast approaching and I have tons of finished goods to complete.  So I'm putting the finishing touches on about a dozen pincushions, like this spool one which I'm stitching a lose thread on.
Been meaning to show you this for a couple of weeks now.  My neighbor at Market was the inventor of a new product called Scissor Buddy.
After hearing her pitch for a few days I thought I should get one.  The selling point for me was that this attaches to your machine with sticky not a magnet which can interfere with the computer chips in our sewing machines.
The other thing I like is that the retractable string stretches out 30".
I'm loving the fact that I have scissors close at hand when I need them.  If your local shop doesn't carry these yet ask them to look into the Scissor Buddy, they sell for $10.00.

Great idea about the scissor buddy. Can't wait to see the finished quilt.
