   Is it me or are these Wednesday's rolling around much quicker than ever?  I certainly have a long to-do list today and right at the top is quilting this small wall hanging given to me by a dear friend.

 She made it for me soon after Ron died.

 She put all of my favorite people, places and things on this sheltering tree.

 Knowing that I would need them all to get through the pain and loss.

Mary expresses herself with needle and thread and I so appreciate this very lovely gift of friendship and support.  It isn't showing here but there is even a small pink cupcake up in that tree of life, so very appropriate considering the recipient.
