Lets Share

It's a great day to share.  Charlotte came in to the shop and we got to see several versions of the courthouse steps block that she has been busily working on.  The first is her Christmas version, nicely framed I might add.
But wait there is this little tiny one she framed and hung from an antique wooden bobbin.
I was just as impressed with the back of her blocks, perfect!
The quarter gives you the scale of these blocks.
 A close up view.
She also had this tucked away in her bag Renee Plains "Cinnamon and Nutmeg".  Thanks so much for sharing Charlotte.  I'm always inspired to get back to the sewing machine when I get to see such beautifully made quilts.
Recently this line by Paula Barnes has been taunting me and well I gave in.  "Old Savannah" from Marcus Fabrics is now sitting on my cutting board waiting for a project worthy of such a pretty collection.
My last sharing is one which I am incredibly honored to announce.  Late Sunday night I opened an email from Primitive Quilts & Projects Magazine and was informed that my project, in their summer issue, WILL be the cover!!!!  It's due out in mid to late April and I am freaking out just a little bit.

I hope we get a sneak peak of the magazine cover. This has got to be some of the best news you've received in so long!! You're well deserving of this and of course I'll need my signed copy. Can't wait to see this and future projects published.
