Applique' Blocks

   I'm pleased with the results.  It has taken 4 months and 3 different fabric combinations for me to finally like my Comfort and Joy quilt.  Here are the blocks that are ready to be stitched down, with the new "shabby" fabrics.  The stocking block.

 With Julie Isa's candy cane arrangement, which I love.

 The snowman, minus a few things that will sit in his hands.  Haven't quite decided what they will be yet.  Maybe a deep pink velvet bird or some sort of peppermint stick??  I'm figuring that out now.

Looks like I'll be sewing the filler blocks all Memorial Day weekend.
