Sunday's Best

What a week...quilt market started in Kansas City and with all the blog posts I've been reading I'm wishing I had gone.
Set up in the Primitives magazine booth
Thursday and Friday I had both of my monthly sewing groups where I got a great cupcake plate and did a  lot of work a new design.
Peachy Keen Bars (see recipe page)
Saturday before my Fat Quarters class with Julie Isa, we took a detour to Starry Night Hallow quilt shop.  The outside garden leading into the shop was so lovely.
What a unique shop and I'm so glad I finally got to go there.
And look what Julie had waiting for us when we got to class.
I was able to get the details worked out on my table runner and I'm quite happy with the results.
Of course the next couple of blocks are so cute that I'm back on board with the quilt and I'm going to make a table topper which consists of 4 of the other blocks.  Here's hoping you have a peace filled week.  Laural
